Real-Time Sensor Integration with LAMBDA Minifor2Bio Touch Fermenter-Bioreactor
Smarter Monitoring. Better Bioprocessing.
The Minifor2Bio touch bioreactor is designed for more than just basic cultivation—it’s built to give you live insight into your process. With support for , it provides continuous monitoring of key parameters like optical density, viable cell density, dissolved gases, and more.
The Minifor2Bio Touch bioreactor is designed for more than just basic cultivation—it’s built to give you live insight into your process. With support for real-time sensor integration, it provides continuous monitoring of key parameters like optical density, viable cell density, dissolved gases, and more.
This means less manual sampling, faster decision-making, and more reliable results.
Plug-and-Play Sensor Compatibility
The Minifor2Bio Touch works with a wide range of standard PG13.5 and side-arm sensors, allowing you to monitor:
Optical Density (OD) – used to estimate total biomass concentration by measuring light attenuation through the culture medium.
Turbidity – provides real-time monitoring of culture opacity, correlating with cell density and overall particle load.
Capacitance (Viable Cell Density) – measures the dielectric properties of the culture to quantify viable (membrane-intact) cells, independent of debris or dead cells.
pCO₂ – enables continuous measurement of dissolved carbon dioxide levels, reflecting metabolic activity and gas exchange efficiency.
Conductivity – monitors ionic strength of the culture medium, useful for assessing nutrient consumption, salt accumulation, and media formulation stability.
And many more....You can choose the sensors that best match your application—no proprietary lock-in, no complicated setup.
Some Supported probes from Hamilton are
- EasyFerm Plus pH probes,
- EasyFerm ORP (redox) probes,
- VisiFerm DO (pO2) probes,
- Dencytee Optical Density (OD) probes and Incyte Viable Cell Density probes,
- Conducell conductivity probes,
- Control dissolved CO2 (dCO2) probes
